If you are participating, I wanted to give you a quick run down of how everything will ((hopefully)) go on Saturday, September 5.
Here is how the tour should go:
1) Create a fall related post, but make sure it showcases the ways you bring fall into your home - recipes, décor, crafts, etc.....
2) Make the post go live before Saturday, September 5 (I would hate for you to miss a visitor if it goes live too late). My post is scheduled to go live at midnight.
3) Make the post the initial post on your site, so that visitors see it immediately. If you are wanting to include posts you've created in the past, create a new post with links to the ones you'd like to showcase, so they are at least accessible from the first post on your page.
4) Once your post is live, get ready to mingle! On Saturday, visit Stringtown Home, and venture through the blogs that are listed. Comment on the posts they've shared, so that they know you've stopped by. ((The purpose of this is to not only share our great work, décor, crafting ideas, recipes, etc., but to also generate new followers and friends!))
5) Lastly, be sure to generate interest through your followers (some may not be bloggers, and many won't be participating), so that they realize that there are more participants. I am sharing a button below that you can add to your post. All you need to do is copy and paste the html in the grab box, and insert it into your post. By clicking on the button, your readers will be redirected to my blog, and will be able to see the other participants that way.
****I am thrilled about the ideas we will see! Fall is my favorite season, and we have really awesome bloggers in the lineup. This is sure to be a treat!!****

ReplyDeleteHi Heather -
ReplyDeleteSoooooo flippin excited! Do you need our URL for the post or are you going to just direct everyone to our website? Mine is http://coconutheadsurvivalguide.com/harvest-tour
Since I normally don't post over the weekend, I'm posting a "teaser" on Thursday to get people excited and then hopefully drive more traffic on Saturday. And the full she-bang on Saturday am. WOO HOO!!!! Now we just need this 90 degree weather to go buh bye!
Hugs, Holly
I'm so excited to see the tour. Our home won't be ready yet but I'm looking forward to the ideas.

I would love to join the home tour! I didn't know if I would have my home ready this early, so I hope it is not too late to join the fun. http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/ (Penny's Vintage Home) hiphi46@yahoo.com hugs....
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Yes! The more the merrier.... So excited to have you join! :)
DeleteI couldn't agree more with what you have to say regarding auto transport, car transport or vehicle transport. This car shipping and vehicle shipping awareness is something the people definitely need to know about. But I need to argue about a different mode of auto shipping which is open auto shipping. I needed to ship a vintage vehicle.
