DIY Lavender & Mint Body Butter

My sister sells Young Living Essential Oils.
She sent me home with some to try, and I love them!

The recipe I am sharing with you, today, is a body butter that I keep on my nightstand.

I'm not sure if it is the coconut oil that warms as you apply it, or if it is the peppermint in the mixture, but as I rub a small amount on my temples and the back of my neck each night it gets warm, and.... it is so relaxing!

Here are a few bits of info regarding the oils I used in this recipe:


And, I used Coconut Oil as the base for the body butter.
Have you heard all of the wonderful aspects of coconut oil?

The recipe is so easy to make.... it took me (((maybe))) five minutes.

Grab a small (jelly) jar.

Fill it with coconut oil.

Then, add the following:
10 drops Y.L. Lavender Oil
10 drops Y.L. Peppermint Oil
5 drops Y.L. Inner Child Oil

Stir the mixture until it is all incorporated, and smooth.
Place the jar lid on, and use as you would like.


As I said, before - I leave the jar on my nightstand, and I use it before I go to bed.  I rub a small portion on my temples and on the back of my neck.  Sometimes, behind my ears, too!
