I spent so much time on this blog, so many years ago. Everyday, I would pour myself into projects, recipes, etc., hoping to build a million + audience and a bank account that reflected it. I wore myself out. It wasn't fun. And, (**spoiler alert**) I didn't become a millionaire.
Funny, huh? Even still, I love this blog. I love the community I found from this blog. I love the memories the pages of this site holds. And, I love having an outlet to share my thoughts and heart.
I've not been dedicated to Stringtown Home for a long time. My time the last few years has been spent on building a family and my new marriage. Life is so very sweet... sweeter than I ever knew it could be. I'm ashamed that I haven't shared that with you all.

So, here's to a new year, a new me, and a new blog... sort of. You'll still find me here, at Stringtown Home, because I am committed to this little website. It's my space. It always has been, mostly because I didn't go to a website name generator and put in a catchy name that was likely to be picked up easily on a Google search. I chose Stringtown Home, because of what it represents. (read about that, here)
May God bless you, and I genuinely hope to see you back very soon, visiting me here, at Stringtown Home!
