Fairy Garden

"You know that place between sleep and awake... the place where you can still remember dreaming... that's where I'll always love you... that's where I'll be waiting..." - Tinker Bell

My little girl loves to watch Tinker Bell.  There are so many movies starring the sweet little fairy, and I think we've seen them all... at least a million times.

We decided to run to Hobby Lobby and grab some fairy garden materials.  She has seen them online, and has wanted to make a "Tinker Bell Home" for a while.

I didn't spend much (Hobby Lobby Spring Shop items are discounted right now).

We started with a basic terra cotta saucer, a bag of moss, stepping stones, a fairy bird bath, archway, bridge, and three fairies.

Of course, she had to wear her fairy wings... she had to channel her inner fairy... haha!

With very little direction from me, she created a moss layer divided by a stream.  She placed the stepping stones in the stream, and the bridge at the end.  Then, we filled the container with water, added the archway and birdbath, and all of the fairies.

She met her daddy at the door when he got home from work.  She took him straight to her little fairy garden!  She's so proud...

She was so excited when she saw the orange fairy holding a white bunny... "Just like Minnie Pearl, mama!"

I know that Tinker Bell would be so proud!

A couple of really cool sites that have showcased fabulous fairy gardens:

Hope you're taking a moment to walk on the grass barefoot... maybe throw on a pair of wings, y'all!

Have a fantastic weekend!
