Another Stroll Through The Garden...

Life in a garden is beautiful.  My garden isn't magazine worthy, or high tea in a derby hat worthy (though I've considered hosting a sweet brunch for my girlfriends alfresco), but it suits me just fine...

The birdsong is beautiful...

And, the butterflies are dancing around from flower to flower... probably because of this "Butterfly Bush" that my mama gave me last year.

I took the advice of a more seasoned gardener (my Grannie), and planted marigolds around my veggies....

Wouldn't you know it?  I have clusters of tomatoes hanging.  I check them every morning and evening, just to see if any are ripe for picking...

Is your garden abuzz?

Enjoy your Wednesday... we're halfway to FRIDAY, y'all!

    2. You two crack me up! It all looks beautiful to me, Heather! With the exception of my rose garden in the front of my house the gophers took everything I've ever planted! Jealous! But, in a good (happy for you) way. Boy, I just can't get over that "rude" lady! Isn't she wonderful?! LOL!

    3. Oh! Stinkin' gophers! We battled with those last year. I planted in containers (mostly) this year, so that I wouldn't have to deal with them. They are awful little pests. That "rude" lade is precious to me! LOL!

  2. So pretty. I have no flowers or garden started. Hopefully soon, although my daughter in law will be doing the bulk of the work. I have a black thumb! Kathleen @ Fearlessly Creative Mammas

    1. I really am not a gardening guru, but I'm finding there are plants that are hardier than others, and those are the ones I lean toward... LOL!
